4.11.06 - Studio Day One - Tonight was our first night in the studio! We laid down most of our "scratch tracks," which will help serve as reference points as we record all the other tracks. In a couple weeks Michael and co. will be back in the studio to do all the drum tracks! We'll keep you posted...

4.19.06 - Studio Day Two - Bob Steel was in town between tour dates so we took the opportunity to finish up the scratch tracks. Several were recorded by Bob and Itchy (Tim) to fill out the scratch a little more. We're all set for Wood to lay some drum tracks next week!

4.25.06 - Studio Day Three - Tonight we spent several hours in the studio recording drum tracks with Michael. We got a whopping 15 songs recorded in one night! Things are sounding great so far. In the next couple weeks we'll be working on Bass and Guitar tracks for the pop tunes and finally some steel pan tracks for the traditional stuff.

5.19.06 - Studio Day Four - Things started off on a bad note when we realized one of the drum tracks from the last session was unusable! Being the happy-go-lucky island folk we are, we took it in stride and found a way to make it work. We spent the night recording Bass tracks for our pan tunes before Dustin leaves for England. After that we were able to do some Brake Drum and Double Second tracks. All in all the night ended up being very productive. We'll work on more steel pan tracks and guitars before finally finishing up with vocals. Things are on track!

6.8.06 - Studio Day Five - Lead pan session 1! Bob Steel (Adam) recorded a bunch of lead pan tracks for the traditional "pan only" tunes. Things went well and the night was pretty productive.

6.21.06 - Studio Day Six - We finally got Lisa into the studio to lay down some Tripple Cello tracks. She was "One-and-Done Yenter" that night and she managed to churn out tracks for all the "pan only" tunes. With her tracks done we're about 90% finished tracking the pan only tunes. We went ahead and burned a CD of our progress so far. It sounded amazing for being rough and having absolutely no mixing.

6.23.06 - Studio Day Seven - Tim and Marlo were in the studio to do some touch ups on brake drum and double second tracks. Bob came in later and we laid in a few aux percussion tracks. We're about ready for Jesse and Dustin to come in and do guitar tracks for the pop tunes.
